What does the “Responsible Sourcing” logo on your coffee and tea packaging mean?
The first pillar of our Common Grounds sustainability program is Responsible Agriculture, also known as Responsible Sourcing. Within this pillar, we focus not only on making our own processes more sustainable, but also on improving sustainability across the entire value chain. To ensure responsible production, we support our coffee farmers in various ways. For example, training sessions are organized in origin countries, where farmers learn about regenerative agriculture and how to prepare their plantations for the future. All our Common Grounds projects contribute to responsible production, which we communicate through our packaging. You can read more about the Responsible Agriculture pillar on this page.
How does JDE Professional work on sustainability?
Since 2018, JDE Professional has been working on sustainability through the Common Grounds program. This program focuses on three pillars: Responsible Sourcing, Minimizing Footprint, and Connecting People. Through various sustainability projects, we contribute, among other things, to the transition toward regenerative agriculture and to an inclusive approach to responsible production. In this way, we work together towards a sustainable planet where the future of coffee and tea remains possible. You can find more information about our Common Grounds program on our sustainability page.
