This takes about 5 minutes to resolve.

Remove the drip tray

Pull the drip tray towards you. Do this carefully to avoid spilling any water.

Empty and clean the drip tray

Remove the grate from the drip tray and empty the drip tray into the sink. Clean both the drip tray and the grate under running water with a dish brush, then dry them with a clean cloth.

Place the drip tray

Slide the drip tray back into your coffee machine. Make sure to press it in firmly.

Place the grate

Slide the grate back onto the drip tray. The message has now disappeared from the display.
