Does decaf coffee contain any caffeine?

Despite its name, decaf coffee isn't completely caffeine-free. During the decaffeination process, at least 97% of the caffeine is removed from the coffee beans. As a result, a typical cup of decaf coffee contains around 2–7 mg of caffeine, compared to 70–140 mg in a regular cup of coffee.
For most people, decaf offers the same great coffee experience with only a fraction of the caffeine, making it a popular choice for those looking to reduce their caffeine intake without giving up their daily coffee ritual.
