Espresso

“Espresso” comes from the Latin word and means “squeezing”. Though the size of the cup is small, the taste is powerful. It is a small amount of very concentrated coffee and as it is brewed, high pressure squeezes hot water thourgh the coffee – delivering a strong, powerful hit of delicious coffee. Cappuccino

Cappuccino originated originally in Italy and is brewed with 1/3 of freshly brewed espresso, 1/3 warm milk and 1/3 of milk froth and dusted with chocolate.To make, firstly brew a shot espresso, then pour the hot frothed milk over the espresso then dust with chocolate – or spice things up with a dusting of cinnamon!

Flat White

Is an Australian classic and is an espresso-based coffee drink consisting of espresso with microfoam (steamed milk with small, fine bubbles with a glossy or velvety consistency). It is somewhat similar to the caffè latte although smaller in volume and less microfoam, therefore having a higher proportion of coffee to milk, and milk that is more velvety in consistency – allowing the espresso to dominate the flavour, while being supported by the milk.

Latte

Is a coffee drink made of steamed milk and espresso shot. It has a higher proportion of milk so it delivers a creamier, more delicate coffee flavour. One beautiful thing about latte is the amazing latte art that can be done on the top of the milk – ranging from love hearts, animals and even 3D latte art using the milk foam.

Long Black

Is also called Americano and is made by pouring a double shot of espresso over hot water and should have a rich creamy crema. Add some flavoured syrup for a sweeter long black, or cool in summer for a refreshing cool iced long black.
