As Master Roaster for JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, Wayne plays an integral role in developing and maintaining our espresso blends for the local markets. Wayne sources superior quality Arabica and Robusta beans from around the world, cupping daily, sample roasting, and profiling, thereby ensuring the highest quality is maintained in our wide range of premium coffees.
Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in science (Food Technology), Daniel is the head coffee trainer at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS. Daniel works closely with JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS Master Roaster, Wayne Archer, focusing on sourcing, blending and roasting the best quality coffees from around the globe.
Daniel's passion for coffee coupled with his immense work experience as a green coffee analyst in South America, working for a boutique Australian coffee roaster and numerous trips to coffee plantations and factories, makes him a wealth of knowledge on everything coffee.
